Rock On!! 2 is an upcoming Indian rock musical, drama film directed by Shujaat Saudagar, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, and with music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The film stars Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli reprising their role from Rock On!!.Shraddha Kapoor will be sharing screen space opposite to Farhan Akhtar. Along with these names, it will also feature actor and musician Shashank Arora as a supporting character.

Principal photography began in Shillong, Meghalaya on 6 October 2015.
The soundtrack on the film will be composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Actress Shraddha Kapoor will be singing three songs. She will be coached by Samantha Edwards, a vocal trainer who has previously coached Priyanka Chopra.
