Pink is an upcoming Indian courtroom drama–thriler film directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and produced by Rashmi Sharma and Shoojit Sircar. The cast of the film includes Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Piyush Mishra, Angad Bedi and Dhritiman Chatterjee. It is scheduled for release on 16 September 2016.
Plot
Deepak (Amitabh Bachchan) is a lawyer suffering from bipolar disorder who experiences frequent mood swings. One night, Rajveer (Angad Bedi) and his friends get drunk and try to molest Miss Arora (Taapsee Pannu) and her two roommates (Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang) leading to an accident. The film revolves around how Deepak fights the girls' case against these influential boys.

Production
In early March 2016 Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he was shooting a film in Delhi. It was rumoured that the film was titled "Eve".On 13 March Bachchan denied the rumours and announced through Twitter that the film is titled Pink.
Filming
The shooting of the film began in New Delhi on International Women's Day, 2016.During the shoot, Amitabh Bachchan also wandered the streets of New Delhi while wearing a costume in which public cannot recognise him. Amitabh Bachchan finished filming his scenes in April 2016. During the shooting Taapsee often broke down as she felt her character very strong and challenging.
Marketing
The poster of the film was unviled by Amitabh Bachchan. And the trailer was released on 9 August 2016. It was praised by many people including Ajay Devgan, Riteish Deshmukh, and Dia Mirza.It was also rumoured that the film was inspired by Jyoti Singh rape case however Shoojit Sircar denied the rumours.
